Part Time Position - Paint Specialist
About the Company:
Excelsior Paint and Design is an independent dealer for Benjamin Moore, Fine Paints of Europe and other quality brands and is located in the vibrant Excelsior Minnesota Community. We seek a part time Paint Specialist to work 24 hours per week, with some weekend hours and the potential for more hours during high seasonal demand periods.
About the Position:
We seek dependable applicants who enjoy working with customers in a team oriented environment. Experience or background in a similar setting is preferred. Some heavy lifting and cashiering is required. Applicants should have a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance and a sound driving record. Compensation for the position is competitive to similar jobs.
General Duties:
- Assist retail customers and contractors with paint needs
- Offer advice on appropriate products and applications
- Tint and mix paints on demand
- Custom match paints and stains
- Put away incoming products
- maintain store displays
- respond to customer inquiries in person and by phone
- deliver some products to customers
